The Konjac Puff Sponge from The Konjac Sponge Co.
Hi everyone!
I've been so busy with my Greenpop Tree-illoniare Challenge that I haven't had much time to post any beauty related reviews but today I'm bringing you the Konjac Puff Sponge which has recently come to South Africa. Made from 100% natural vegetable fibre this little sponge packs quite a punch!
My first though when I received the sponge was "I hope this won't be rough on my skin" - boy was I surprised when I used it and felt just how soft it was on my face, I honestly didn't anticipate it to be so gentle. It's super easy to use, you just soak and hydrate it before and then massage your skin in circular motions. You can even use it in combination of your cleanser but I prefer to use it by itself afterwards. Like I said, it's really gentle on your skin but it helps to refine your pores; is a soft exfoliator and even helps to remove water based make up.
After you've cleansed your face with the sponge, you should rinse it really well and then squeeze out the excess water (don't wring or twist it). What I was impressed with as well about this product, is that it comes attached to a small string so you can hang it up somewhere airy in order to let it dry properly.

If you take care of your sponge, it should last about 3 months. Since it's made from natural vegetable fibres it can be composted which is awesome!
ps: this white sponge is for all skin types, you can get different sponges for different skin types
