Shampoo & Conditioner from eco.kid
I know what you're thinking, "but this is for kids?" - exactly! If it's gentle enough to be used on kids hair, why can't I use it on mine?
My first reaction in terms of the shampoo was "hmmm, it doesn't foam?", this is actually a good thing! I was once using a "natural shampoo" and then my hairdresser told me that if it foams (which it did), it's likely to have a type of sulphate in it (which it claimed not to have). Secondly, I noticed the smell! Made from some of Australia's finest essential oils (to help prevent and treat lice in the little one's hair), it smells so fresh - you can really notice it even after you've washed your hair.
The conditioner has taken a bit of getting used to, since it can be used daily it's not as 'heavy' as the other conditioners that I've used. I usually have tangles after I've washed my hair so I was worried that it would be a pain to try comb them out after using this lighter conditioner but it was actually a breeze!
I think it's important that there is a company like eco.kid as it's great to find organic products suitable for children!
I was also sent an insect repellent spray so I'm excited to test that out in Zambia!
Have you ever used a natural shampoo or conditioner?
I have to tell my sister about this!
