[BEAUTY]: Juice Beauty Glowing Cheek Colour

There is something about finding a blush product that works for your skin tone and is just so pretty that really makes a girl happy! This is how I felt when I first tested the Juice Beauty Glowing Cheek Colour in Pink.

This blush is a lovely shade of pink, not too dark yet not the baby pink shades I usually wear. Made from a blend of tinted minerals and enriched with Vitamin E, this blush has made it's way to the top of my  beauty product list!

The plant based ingredients of this blush are as follows:

♥ Cornstarch and tapioca powder give the formula a lightweight, even and silky finish.
♥ Raspberry and strawberry seed oils are rich in essential fatty acids.
♥ Grape seed and cranberry seed oils keep the skin looking fresh and youthful, by supporting its collagen and elastin levels.
Pomegranate, acai, goji and blueberry seed oils are packed with protective antioxidants to fight off free radicals.
♥  Aloe leaf juice is soothing and healing
source: Faithful-To-Nature

Tap a bit of the powder into the lid of the jar and then lightly apply using a powder/blush brush to the apples of your cheeks. Build up the colour if you feel necessary.

If you are looking for more of a bronze colour, this blush also comes in Fig.

Below is a photo of me wearing a light dusting of the blush, it's the from the same look of the make up I bought in Janaury which you can read here.

[REVIEW]: Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss

Reflecting Gloss in Champagne by Juice Beauty

Lip gloss, every girl has at least 5 lying somewhere around her house and handbag right?
How about a gloss that you don't have to feel guilty about? This Reflecting Gloss from Juice Beauty is exactly one of those!

Enriched with avocado oil; Jojoba oil; Sesame oil and agave extracts, it's full of vitamins and oils that help hydrate your lips. Along with antioxidants such as the oils of pomegranate; acai; cranberry seed; grape seed and goji berr, this gloss helps protect your lip from free radical damage. It even has a slight shimmer thanks to natural mineral reflectors.

The lip gloss that I have is the champagne shade which is a light nude colour that just adds that touch of gloss to your lips. I love Juice Beauty and have two other products from them, the Juice Beauty Tinted Moisturiser and the Juice Beauty Conditioning Lip Colour (which I also talk about in this video).

Made with organic ingredients and cruelty free - I'm a fan!

This gloss used to be sold on Rubybox but I can't seem to find it but you can get it from Faithful To Nature for R245.00.

What Juice Beauty products are your favourite?

Travel Essentials

My Top Travel Essentials

"Wanderlust" - a very strong desire or impulse to travel

I am utterly consumed by wanderlust, each day a new city; a new country; a new island is added to my bucket list. I am extremely blessed with the fact that I get to travel to Zambia quite a few times a year. Seeing as though I travel so often, I must say I've become a little bit of a pro when it comings to packing. However, sometimes my blondness gets to me and I might forget something and  when I'm in Zambia there aren't many shops by the Zambezi River oops!

These are a few of my traveling essentials. Since I'm a sun loving summer baby, I usually travel somewhere that involves a river; beach or pool so my traveling essentials are all summer based.

1. Rayban Aviators (Polarized) from Sunglass Hut
2. Basil & Lemongrass Mosquito Repellent Body Lotion from The Victorian Garden
3. Fake Out Mascara from Physicians Formula
4. Tinted Mineral Moisturiser from Juice Beauty
5. Lemon Drop Lip Balm from EOS
6. Rose Water Hydrosol from Balm Balm
7. Sport SPF 40 Sunscreen from SunUmbra
8. Earphones from Forever New
9. Bikini from Roxstar

I've already reviewed the Basil & Lemongrass Mosquito Repellent Body Lotion; the Fake Out Mascara and the Sport SPF40 Sunscreen so here's a bit more information on the other products I've mentioned as my travel essentials:

Polarized Rayban Aviators from Sunglass Hut

For Christmas 2012, I got my first pair of Raybans and was immediately hooked. I knew I couldn't go back to my cheap sunnies after being spoilt by the amazing Rayban lenses. Unfortunately in December 2013 while I was in Kariba, a wave pretty much stole them off my face haha! I got money for Christmas 2013 and decided to wait for the Sunglass Hut sale. I managed to get these babies for a really great price, they are polarized and they can fold up into half of the shape so they are perfect for traveling! Also, the aviator shape is so classic so I know these will never go out of style. I love my Rayban Aviators!

EOS Lemon Drop Lip Balm

A friend of mine went to Au Pair in America and when she returned and was unpacking her bag I totally freaked out because I saw she had some EOS lip balms with her. She very kindly gave me the Lemon Drop one and I am completely obsessed with it! I use it all day, before I go to gym, when I wake up, before I go to bed, it's pretty much with me all the time. What's so great about this one is that it has SPF 15 in it so it's perfect for being outdoors. I will be doing a full review on the EOS lip balms soon!

Earphones from Forever New

Can we just take a minute and admire how beautiful these earphones are? My brother's girlfriend bought these beauties for me for Christmas and I still to this day can't get over how fabulous they are! I love listening to music on long journey's so these are perfect for keeping me glam while I travel!

Rose Water Hydrosol from Balm Balm

This product is pretty much the holy grail of travel products for me! Yes, I am that serious! I decant this product into a travel approved sized bottle and carry it in my hand luggage. I always feel like my skin gets so dry on the plane so I spritz this during and after my flight and it keeps my skin hydrated and fresh. I also like to spray it after a long day in the sun as it is invigorating and helps lock the nutrients in my skin. It's also a dual purpose product as it can be used to remove those last traces of make up and as a toner!

USA flag bikini from Roxstar

As I mentioned, I'm 99% of the time near water so a bikini is a staple in my travel wardrobe. I got this at the end of last year and I love love love this bikini! I'm pretty much obsessed with bikini's so I buy them quite often and therefore get to  pack quite a few each time I travel. I have a few 'safe' bikinis that I always pack and then often a few of my new ones. But seriously, how cute is this bikini?

A travel tip that I've recently learn't from my mom is, always carry a face cloth in your hand bag or hand luggage when you travel. Often when you stop at restrooms, there aren't paper towels etc so its great to keep one in your bag in a plastic bag for clean dry hands!

What are some of your travel essentials? Any that I mentioned?

REVIEW: Juice Beauty Tinted Moisturizer

SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Moisturizer in Ivory from Juice Beauty

Adored by Madonna, Kate Hudson and Marcia Cross, I was so intrigued when I was sent this product last year to test during the December holidays. Made up of 95% certified organic ingredients (among one of the highest in skincare), this brand is on a mission to bring organic beauty solutions to people worldwide.

The creators of Juice Beauty believe that a healthy, organic lifestyle not only applies to what we eat but also, what we put on our faces and bodies. What fascinated me the most about this brand and this product, is that it uses organic juice as it's base. By using rich antioxidant organic ingredients such as juices; aloe vera; honey; botanicals; plant oils and raw cane sugar, Juice Beauty products are incredibly nourishing for your skin.

Since receiving this Tinted Mineral Moisturizer, I use it about 4 times a week, mainly during the week when I go for more of a natural look and have truly become a fan of it. The shade they sent me (Ivory) was a bit too light for me, so I add a touch of my foundation just to match my skin tone. It's creamy, moisturising and packed with goodness for your skin. This SPF 30 enriched moisturiser is full of nutrients and minerals as well as white grape, aloe and pomegranate juices which help even out your skin tone, leaving you with a radiant complexion. Juice Beauty suggests that after applying this moisturiser to your clean skin, you can follow with finishing powder. I personally don't use a powder afterwards as I love the dewy, fresh faced look it leaves me with after applying it, but I would suggest you do if you have an oily skin. I also sometimes use it along with a concealer when I'm looking for a bit more coverage as it provides a light to medium coverage.

I love that it contains SPF 30 as we all know that we should be wearing sunscreen everyday to protect our beautiful canvases. I also love that it does not contain parabens; GMO; Silicones; pesticides; artifical dyes or fragrances. This moisturiser even contains Coconut Oil which is so beneficial for your skin!

It's quite expensive for the moisturiser (R385 for 60ml) but it's similar to what you're paying for a foundation or high end BB/CC cream. Even though it's a bit pricey, I will definitely be purchasing this once mine finishes and if you look on the Natures Colours website you will see there are some more Juice Beauty products that look amazing! Juice Beauty is cruelty free, so as I had mentioned in my Say No to Animal Cruelty post that I want to focus on changing my make up collection,  I will also be looking into their make up range!

What products have you tried from Juice Beauty?
